Ironbark / Dense Reds

Ironbark / mixed dense reds has a beautiful red hue which is great as benchtop or piece of furniture, and its high durability also makes it great for external decking, cladding and outdoor furniture.

TIMBER DESCRIPTION

A mix of species of similar high durability and colour such as ironbark, forest red gum, turpentine and red mahogany. Originally coming mainly from coastal forests from northern NSW to QLD.

  • Ironbark: Eucalyptus sideroxylon

  • Forest Redgum: Eucalyptus tereticornis

  • Turpentine: Syncarpia Glomulifera

  • Red Mahogany: Eucalyptus resinifera

USES

The durability of the mixed dense reds makes them great for external decking, cladding and outdoor furniture. They also make a hard wearing bench top and their beautiful colour and grain makes them excellent for furniture.
