Blue Gum / Coastal Reds

RECYCLED FROM House and building demolitions in NSW.

TIMBER KNOWLEDGE Mainly Sydney blue gum, with some other coastal red hardwood species of similar colour and density. These include southern & red mahogany and rose gum. These trees originally came from NSW coastal forests.

USES Mixed reds make beautiful benchtops and furniture, flooring and internal cladding. They look great lightly dressed with a sawtooth finish as their darker tones complement the blacks in the oiled sawtooth surface. They are not durable enough for external use unless carefully coated.
