We breathe new life into handpicked, vintage structural timbers

In our Canberra workshop we make re-milled flooring from recycled Australian hardwoods like Ash, Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, Tallowwood, North Coast Mahogany, Turpentine and Brushbox. The freshly milled tongue and groove makes for precise, snug fitting boards and quick installation. Like new boards, but with a rich character and story to tell.

The floorboard surface can be dressed lightly to leave some of the original rough sawn surface for a more rustic sawtooth patina, or we can mill it back further for a cleaner appearance, revealing all the grain and colour of the timber.

78MM WIDE BOARDS

We usually re-mill floorboards from vintage 100mm x 50mm rafters and joists. This produces a 78mm wide board.

Our usual thickness is 18mm in clean dressed or 19mm in sawtooth.

Other widths and thicknesses may be possible depending on stock availability. Contact our design team for up-to-date stock.

AVAILABLE FINISHES

Clean Dressed

Planed back to reveal the colour and grain of the timber. Our standard thickness is 18mm in the clean dressed finish.

Sawtooth

We dress the surface lightly, to reveal the old saw marks for a more rustic patina. Sawtooth flooring is machined to 19mm thick.
